After weeks of delays, we have finally begun construction

We are trying to be excited but cautious because Ryan Homes is proceeding with the construction of the home without ours being sold first. They started digging last Tuesday and a week later our foundation is done. Lumber is due today and they will start on framing I think next week.

    Oh how I wish we had started ours before our house sold! I really thought about signing in December but we didn't like the thought of having two mortgages. If only we had taken the risk.

    Have you had a good amount of traffic in your current house? It is time for people to move, so you should be okay!

    Jennifer,

    I wish I could be more excited and optimistic but if our house is not sold in the next 4 weeks, Ryan is going to sell our new home as a spec home.... not happy about it at all! We have had about 60 groups of people through the house and almost sold it 4 times the first month but nothing lately.

      Ugh, I had no idea they'd do that. I'm sorry. Sometimes things happen right in time... certainly hoping that's the case for you!
